miami effect leaves the NXL!!!

apparently, lasoya went through with his threat and left the NXL after he claimed he wanted higher wages and better benefits for his team...

the NXL team miami effect is no more, and will now be playing in NPPL and PSP div1 x-ball tourneys. they are currently registered for the NPPLs7 tampa bay tourney.

Hmm...First the pan/am, now the NXL, Lasoya is running out of places to play. I think it's cool they demanded higher salaries, maybe this is one step closer to pro players getting paid better. I like Lasoya though.

I think he knows what he's doing most of the time, but he needs to work on his temper and his trigger finger. I don't know how long ago it was he did this, but I heard he put 12 balls in the top of some guy's head when he bunkered him. Lay off, man. I can understand 3-4 shots so the guy wouldn't wipe it, but even at that, the other player would have to be a ways away. A bunkering move draws attention from the refs, doesn't it?

I agree penny...It's clear he can control his temper since he hasn't done that since. And he claims he only pulled 6 times, and he had a lot of bounce. Sure it might have been a little overkill, but do we know if he inteded to give the guy a concussion? He's got my respect, he's one of the best players in the world. Now let's see him give Dynasty some good competition at the NPPL.

He shot a guy 10 time using an illegal firing mode. I think it was turbo or something where you fire one shot on the pull and release of the trigger. The guy got a concussion.

No. His marker had bounce, and although illegal, it can start bouncing without the shooters notice or want. This can be caused by paint getting inside the trigger frame and many other factors. It happend to Dynasty recently.

my prediction is that the effect are gonna get rocked for a while until they can get used to something outside the NXL.

they'll be back by the end of the season(if they start playing soon)

advertising and such...company pays them to wear/use/advocate their stuff off the field...especially at events.

not much tho, cant live off it, but its still something...
