ok my friend has a rebel bottomline and he's put 2400 shots through it (more or less) when it decided to sputter everytime he shot and killed a 20 oz tank with about 100 sputter shots:pissed:

i've read elsewhere that the problem may be the sear or the bumper please respond with any relevant information

also i have a rebel deluxe that i've put 500+ shots though and i was wondering if i should invest in a sypder compact 2000 from my neighbor for 55 bucks and use it when mine breaks, or should i go ahead and fix it

how much does a sear cost and how much does a bumper cost

by the way my friend has lost faith in rebels and is planning on downgrading himself to a -gasp- spyder (limited edition)

The only problem I had was with the sear, which lasted a good 5-7 cases, and you can get the manual online at 32* website but you need acrobat or whatever its called

i checked and found out it was the sear, because his gun works fine with my deluxe trigger frame on it and his sear looks chipped in the back

i'll look for those manuals now :P

please give your input to how long your sear lasted, and where you bought the extra one; and how long the second one lasted and what you are using (oil, grease etc.)

Buddy that is nothing. Mine had a whole list of problems when I had only used it twice. Just keep your gun in good condition and oil it after everytime you use it. I use gold cup and it works fine. If the warranty is still good then call up where you got it from and just tell them that you need a sear for a rebel and they SHOULD send you a new one. When I called them they sent me like 8 of every part, for free though. I didn't pay for shipping. I got mine through 888paintball. They are like a dollar or two otherwise. When you get it fixed make sure you oil the thing after everytime you use it. Oiling is not hard and rebels as far as I have had expeirience with them they need it.
Hope this helps you.
