hello.

i have one question:

which company makes the paintballs with the thickest paint?

i mean, really thick..

as this may sound weird to you, i am experimenting with shooting paintball at white walls, creating abstract pictures with this.

therefore i need a color that is really thick and looks bright even after drying.

can anyone help?

thank you very very much,

arktik

I made a paintball collage for art and i shot paintballs at a piece of construction paper for the backround. The collage looks so awesome.. i used Direct Hit paintballs (you remember that ****!! worked so good!!) PMI Premium, Marbalizer, Bigball.. so i had like 5 colors..the collage looks awesome..if i can get my friends digi i will take apic this weekend

anway..my point :D is that i did that artwork about 18 months ago... The paint is STILL not dry.. it still comes off on my fingers. I tried putting really hot lights on it and put it in a heater room, etc..it wont dry.

so if you want it to try..youre gonna have to spray something over top of it to keep it from coming off on stuff

also, another FYI..when i shot my paintballs they would break through the paper or they would not make a big enough SPLAT..what i ended up doing was shooting at a wood board and they woudl splat well..then i layed the paper ontop of that and pressed and held it for a while.. it came out lookin good.. but i cheated :)

it was fun, i gotta get a pic of the collage..its cool

I dont know which type of paintball has the thickest fill but you might try some of those brass eagle paintballs....cheap and good amount of fill...just make sure they wont bust in your barrel...thats if you have one...im thinking your just a artist right?

Someone in the general paintball talk replied to your thread identical to this and said that if you spray it down with hairspray it shoudl work..

i gotta try that on my collage :D

There is a kind of spray made just for coating art. I'm not sure of the spelling, it's called Fixative or something like that. You can find it at the bigger art supply stores.

I've also heard of the hairspray trick too.
