Somone brought up in another post about makin their tippy a pistol i was wondering about the barrel. you wouldnt want to go without one but would using the base piece of say a CP 2 piece barrel be efficient? because getting into cutting off barrel ends isnt a vary good idea.

Im asking because i only use 1 piece barrels, and tryin to get some help to those tippy pistol makers ;)

Also add in reccomendations on how you would turn ur tippy into a pistol Preferable M98 or m98c plz

People usually just cut down the stock barrel to the desired length. Plus it's a cheaper alternative.

Good luck

the design of a tippmann 98 will not make too good of a pistol as you are trying to make...simply too long with the whole powertube and bolt....

also why ask on doing something that you already said this about???

hey man if u want a paintball pistol just buy one

the a-5 is more of a rifle if u think a bout it why not carry that around and a sidearm?

but if you insist on cutting your barrel make sure you leave no burrs or you will have a paint slicer on your hands.....

now for my stolen line that we are all getting tired of "Good luck and happy hunting"

well chop off the front handle with a bandsaw or hacksaw, mill it down with dremel or file to make it look better. Get a really short barrel like the lapco 8 inch. I personally dont think this ais a great idea cuz it will make for a 1.5 foot pistol and eliminate VA upgrades.

An A5 would be better. 4 oz in vert ASA, no front handle, 30 rd loader cap, and chopped barrel. It's as compact as you're going to get.

I remember WAAAAAY back a whiles ago, some dude moved the Co2 Thread from in fron of the trigger running down to the bottomline, to strapped to the side of the gun and through the grip. It'd require some drilling and stuff, but its possible. He also saomehow cut the powertube and the front end of the gun down alot. I dont remember how.
