The mortar is a useless weapon in paintball for quite a few reasons:

1. The accuracy just sucks from even a limited distance

2. The ballon-type rounds won't make it through the trees

3. Even if the splatter does hit someone, most people won't call out

4. Fields are disallowing them because they come down and could knock a players mask off.
