I heard that alot of new extreme bko's ordered from firstcallpaintball.com are having problems with the solenoid busting. Thats where i ordered mine from! i haven't gassed it up yet, and i'm afraid that when i do, the gun is gunna break. Anyone have any advice so that nothing will break when i first gas it up? I dont want to have to send it in to get a new one.:( :( :( :( :(

First call gets the same guns as everyone else.

What problems are you hearing of about the solenoid?

The most common one, I read, is that the solenoid screws come loose sometimes and the solenoid doesnt have a good seal.

This just causes a leaky solenoid.

It can be fixed easily by putting some blue locktite on the screws and screwing it down. Just dont tighten them down too much. Just make sure they are snug.

also when you first get your marker just to be on the safe side, unscrew both the LPR and the HPR out so that they are both pretty much blocking the pressure. Then slowly up them to how the manual reads. This should prevent any overpressuring just in case someone tampered with the bko after it left ICD.

yeh, i was hearing about the solenoid leaking and then breaking. If i lowered the pressure going into my gun with the regulater, would it help?

its very difficult to blow up your solenoid, you would really have to try hard and on purpose to do it. As long as you follow your directions in your instruction manual you will be fine. Read it 2x before even airing your BKO up.
