VF or Powerfeed?

I'm only just getting into the paintball scene and im about to buy a Piranha STS G3. There is the Verticle feed or the Powerfeed. I know what the basic difference is but could someone please explain the physical differences of them and/or the pros. & cons. of each? Will i have to order the 12v hopper with the powerfeed version?

Well I like the vertical feed just for looks but it does feed just a little faster since the feed is vertical....but then again on powerfeed it stackes more balls, which is what I prefer.

You'll only need the 12v revvy if can outshoot your regular hopper or having some feeding problems.
