I have been looking for a good gun thats under 200$. I have been looking around for about 1 week through magazines and the internet. I found 2 paintball guns that really intrest me but i cant decide which one to get. The 2 guns are the Tippmann 98 custom and the .Spyder rodeo . Im looking for a gun thats durable, woodsball and speedball, and that i dont have to clean every 100 shots. Please try to help me figure out which one of these to get but if you know of a different gun that fits my needs please post it but remember im looking for somthing under 200$.

neither. get a spyder victor II. it'll perform the same as a rodeo stock, but you'll have money left over to buy upgrades which will make it better than the rodeo.

Better listen to the man he knows what he is talking about. Every mech spyder is the same, I would reccommen a cheap used Automag you will love it and they can run on C02

Just be sure the 'mag has a classic valve. If it has an RT or X-valve you won't be able to use Co2.

upgrade part? What like a barrel? I would suggest for upgrades dye sticky grips, hpa, dye excel barrel(cheap and effective barrel) that shouldn't cost too much, only a little over 200$ for upgrades but it's not like you have to get them the day you get your gun. I don't know a lot about mags so I'm just giving you some basic "gun" upgrades. Not to mention you sound like you don't know a lot about mags yet, you should def. go to the mags forum and read the stickies before you buy one.

buy the imagine its electric i have tried one my dad has one and i had a tippmann 98 and the imagine is faster and more accurate than custom but (you have to buy any aftermarket barrel and then it rocks and if you dont wanna chop then make sure to get any e loader except quantum my favs for imagine is reloader and revvy) good luk

Get a victor to and get some ups for it. To find upgrades go the spyder forum and check the upgrade stickies.
Or if you wanna go electric get the imagine and up it.

If you ever want to get competitive or play in any decent tourneys down the road, mag.

If you just plan on playing woodsball all your life, mag. Can Spyders dry fire under water? :P

Read the stickys in the Airgun Designs forum.
