I was wondering if anyone has had any succes with a flatline and an RT being used at the same time?

Well I haven't ever shot a flatline, but I have shot an RT. Alot of people say that the Flatline sucks, and I know for a fact that the RT does. I shot it with a 12v Revvy and the thing was choppin left and right. And if you had a flatline and were chopping left and right... Well, you get the picture :)

I don't think think that either of them are bad products; I was wondering how well they would work in conjunction. Such as: (Assuming a high rof) do the balls travel slow enough through the flatline barrel that ball 'A' is still traveling through the barrel when ball 'B' is fired?

shooting fast (RT) through a flatline will have no different effect as shooting normal speed.
if you break a ball in the breech, and it is tough to clean, that is not the flatlines fault
whether you shoot 2000balls a minute or 2000 a year, you will have the same amount of barrel breaks.. if it set up the same all the time
shooting fast through a paintball barrel does absolutely nothing to the barrel.
if you shoot 2000 balls through the flatline, and you have 1000 curve way right due to the flatline, then thats the same as shooting a RT and a flatline with 2000 balls a minute and having 1000 curve right
no difference
if you flatline works and you wanna shoot fast
get the RT

Never Mind, I figured it out. the flaline barrel is roughly 15" (counting the curve) I will use 12" for mathematical purposes. If I were shooting at 100 fps (again for mathematical purposes) I would need to shoot 100.1 bps to have two balls in the barrel simultaneously. -I don't know why I didn't figure this out sooner-duh!
Thanks anyway

Shoting that much paint without a break..I have a flat line and the spin makes the balls weaker so you need a strong ball. That means you would always have to use marbs if you wan a high ROF. The flat line is 16 inches but with the flat line you need like five round bursts and a constant volocity so 10bps would mess that up.. So Using them in a comb would mean you need Marbs all the time.

I always heard not to use marbs in the flatline, especially during summer (And I live in Phoenix!) and at long range because they bounce like pingpong balls.
