I don't think barrels are a concern. You will probably want nitro over c02.

Where in the world are people hearing about cold weather barrels? Is there such a thing? I don't think so. The biggest thing about the barrel is does it match the bore size of your paint, next is porting is it well ported for quiet and accuracy?

Compressed air is definately the way to go for you though. But you do have to take into consideration where can you get it filled.

Let me know if you need any equiptment.

I don't think a barrel works in a certain type of temperature...they just work.
