I have a M98 and am looking to move up. I am looking at a Piranha G3 TS. Couple of questions... It has a regulator and the sales guy says you can set it down to 500 psig to conserve CO2. is this true and does it conserve gas?

Any problems with this marker?

The piranha pro ts is a good gun dont get me wrong...but its not that much of a big improvement over your m98..thats just my opinion.

Yes most of the time a lp setup will conserve gas. And theres nothing wrong with the marker unless you dont treat it right.

Thanks for the input... what marker would you recommend as the next step up from the M98. Why? What Features? Thanks for your time...

I've owned Piranha Pro's and STS G2's and Mags and well you get the picture. In my humble opinion the Pro G2 is one of the nicest gun built. My friend shoots one and I've done some trigger jobs on it and that thing shoots very well. But for the money I would try for a Mag. On eBay you can find some nice Mags for the price of that Piranha you're looking at. Shop around and make your own decision but consider a gun with not as many bells and whistles because those things are all just more things to break. With a Mag there is nothing on it that can break. Again just my opinion but just think about it.

tippman is an entry level marker...
usually the next step would be a cocker, mag, shocker, bushy, etc.....

then a high end electro
