Hey folks. I was curious which would be the best barrel to purchase, a Lapco Bigshot, or a Lapco Autospirit. I will be upgrading the stock barrel on my Spyder. Currently, I use Diablo, Marbs, Proballs, and anything else I can get my hands on. Any paint is good paint! (Minus Brass Eagle... that doesnt count.) So anyways. The bore size on the Bigshot is .689, while the Autospirit is measured at .686. If you have any thoughts about which would be a better barrel to buy, please let me know! Thanks!:peace:

well the auto spirit will do better with the marbs and some of the diablo paint, but since you have a variety, i would say go with the big shot. since it will do good with med paint and wont break small paint. if you try to run med. paint through the auto spirit, bring a BIG squeegee, cause it will be a mess . . . i would pick one size paint and stick to it for best results . . .

I agree with Venom. Most paint out there is medium. Unless you play regularly at a field that only has small paint or their medium paint is crap, I would get the Bigshot. Then get ya the Autospirit for the days small paint is in order. I read an article that did a barrel and paint test and the best grouping of like 10 barrels and five or six different types of paint was a Bigshot with Marb combination. This was at splatter times I believe.

Well, It looks like I will go with the big shot. All the recommendations you gave were excellent, thanks!:agree:
