i have found a way to modify your old avenger into a class A sidearm for nothing!
its better than pgp's or punishers, because it still shoots fast (10 bps) and still accepts sypder threaded barrels
for more info email me at: degreatgazoo@yahoo.com

A little more info, please? Why would you bother posting unless you have any information about this. Most likely a scam if one have to send it in to you. This is not the most impressive thing I've seen with an Avenger, this (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=218953&highlight=be+autococker) is.

except in my avenger pistol, u dont need to buy a macroline kit, so its absolutely free! (u just use the steel-braided hose)
im just here to help all my fellow pballers, and spread an awesome and free gun mod
if someone wants to know how to do it, then just say YES and ill sit down and type it alllllllll out

UPDATE: I should have a picture of my gun by this afternoon for those wanting a visual before modification, at the latest, i should have a pic tomm.
ok i have a pic pending, but i can xplain the steps
what u will need, (depending on if you have the plastic trigger/trigger frame model, or the aluminum model)
1.if you have the ALUMINUM trigger/trigger frame model, then you will need a grinder (or a file and LOTS of patience), and a drill
However, if you have the PLASTIC trigger frame model, then you can cut and drill using a knife and/or saw
2.alrite, set your tools aside (you will need them later), and start by unscrewing the part where your tank screws in, located at the bottom of trigger frame, (the allen wrenches you will need are provided in the kit you recieved with your avenger)
3. unscrew the steel braided hose from the piece you removed, and look at the red piece that the tank screws in in your hand, it should have either 4 screw holes, in a square pattern, or 2 holes in diagional fashion
4.if you have the 4 hole pattern, you dont need to do any work to this part, and you may skip step 4, however, if you own the 2 hole version, you will need to look at this piece, look at the side that doesnt hae the indent where the screwheads go in,
OK you SHOULD be looking at the side with NO INDENTS
turn the piece vertical, (while looking at the side with no indents) you should have a hole pattern like this \
now drill a hole to the left of the bottom hole so that it is lined up with the top hole, like this > :.
(dont worry about hitting tubes, they are located to the middle)
5.remove the trigger frame and cut off the double finger trigger, so that its now a single-finger trigger, and cut off the trigger guard (be sure to clean out all shavings once completed)
6.looking at the trigger frame, near the back where the screw was removed, look at where the trigger mechanism is, look a little bit back and you should see no mechanical parts, just empty space, this is where the tank piece will be mounted
7.depending on ure own comfort, mount the piece that screws in the tank on the right side of the gun (side opposite from the bolt), in the trigger frame at the back, making sure not to hit the mechanics or get in the way of the mechanics, on the inside, using the screws you took out in step 2
p.s. you may have to cut a small top portion of the avengers grip off, like i did, but your hand doesnt hit it at all
8.ok, you should have a dangling hose from the main piece, and a red tank piece mounted in the back of the trigger frame,
remove the tank piece from the trigger frame and screw the hose back into it, then remount the piece back on the frame, and put the trigger frame back on the main body
9.look at your gun so far, you SHOULD have an avenger w/ the tank piece going out the right side, right above your hand, and a steel hose running horizontal w/the gun, then bent in front of the trigger in a U shape, (i had to bend a piece of aluminum around my hose at the U part to keep it off my trigger, but a rubber band works just fine too)
10.FINALLY (my hands are aching) look at your barrel and grind or file it off to the desired pistol length, personally, i cut mine off so i had 3 1/2 inches of barrel showing when the barrel is fully screwed in
11.congratulations dudes, slap a 12 gram quik-changer on that puppy, or a 4oz. tank (i own em both ;) ) put a 10 rnd tube at the top (or a 50 rnd hopper), and you have a nice sidearm, which i also use as a main gun when my spyder breaks down, just put ure spyder barrel on it, a 200rnd hopper, and a big tank, and oh my! you have your old avenger back!
12.(optional) for a guy needing concealibility, u CAN make a magazine like one on a Punisher (http://www.paintball.com.tw/images/NPS-B/‘„Ž}-B/11-PUNBLK.jpg) , that runs along with the gun, by cutting out a section behind the vertical feeder, so that a 10 rnd tube will fit, if you need to know how to make AWESOME cheep spring-fed magazines out of ten rnd paintball tubes, go here: http://www.paintballnyc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=571&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15&sid=8bb881841a5a962f04125ef2c6b185b4
and its the seventh post down
