i know this is a n00b q but what is the advantage of a 2 piece barrel???

better ability to get a good barrel to paint match. and that's it pretty much

They're also easier to clean, you can get the backs/fronts in different colors, and usually they are honed smoother, just because most high quality barrels are 2 piece barrels.

They make barrels custumizable. You can choose bore size, color, length and change it anytime.
