Ok, I am rather pissed. A couple of days ago i bought a 14"pmi razzor from a local shop. I screwed it on and it wobbled like crazy. I realized it didn't have an o-ring on it so i took it back to the shop where they gave me one. i think its too small though and the barrel still wobbles wheen screwed in. now i am using my stock barrel. What can i do? are the threads on the razzor just crappy or what?

Make sure that the two halves of the reciever are tight against one another, but not so tight that the sight blade can't move easily. This is just a documented, as Microsoft would put it, feature of the M98's construction. Just about any barrel is going to give you some wobble, it was probably present in you stock barrel, but you couldn't notice it as much because it was half the length.

thanks a lot for answering so quick man. I am going to try the receiver thing but i think its tight since i have never stripped my gun. Also, this wobble is major, a good 1/4" of an arc wobble. do you think the small o-ring might have something to do with it? I repeat man, this is major wobble. Also, do you know what bore size the razzor is. What paint would shoot well out of it, etc.
thanks

This is a toughy.
I don't think the small oring would make much of a difference, the o-ring is suppossedly just there to keep your barrel from loosening while you're playing. A larger o-ring wouldn't hurt to try, though. You bought it locally, so you're in luck, take it back to your shop and complain; they might just replace it, especially if you pick up something expensive, and walk to the counter and then mention it in passing. ;) This way they'll be willing to appease you to an extent to keep you from walking out the door. :D

Yeah man, I am thinkin the replacement thing is the right avenue to pursue. I am of the opinion that the threads on this barrel just really suck. I really appreciate your help, and will post what happens upon return. Also, after i lose this barrel, what should i get for about 50bucks to replace it. something short. 8-10in
