I want to get a new gun should I got for a spyder e-marker like a Fenix or is a TES good? I don't really care about the rof but I want accuracy more.
Oh and I heard the TES doesn't have standard C02 threading is that true? Or is there another gun in that price range that is better? Thanks.
I'm kinda leaning toward the TES right now

Go TES over the Fenix. They both are pretty crappy imo. The price you pay is too high for what you get. Get a gun like a Dragun LED or Spyder Imagine and add an aftermarket barrel and reg. The combination of the 2 will make it far more accurate than a stock TES or Fenix.

Well, if you think a stock tes is mad accurate then I'd have to say you're pretty dumb, and if you think an upped tes is more accurate than any other gun with the same ups, then you're still dumb.
Since the price drop the TES has actually become a decent purchase. Really, it depends on your funds and how highly you value 20bps and a kinda ace compared to a good aftermarket barrel and reg. Either way, never get a Fenix.
BTW, the thing about threading on the TES is the stock drop. If you have hpa the guage will often get in the way and keep you from being able to screw in the tank. It won't have any problems with co2.

i was looking at the fenix and the tes to. the tes is made cheaply and if you want to use n2 you need to replace the drop because the guage will hit the trigger and you can't fit the tank in all the way. along with that you need a new regulator because the holes in the stock one are only for the stock drop you just replaced. you also need a new bolt because the stock one scratches the inside. you a spring kit because it is low presser and you don't get allot of distance on the shots. it's only called the sniper because the stock barrel is good compared to other markers but it still is not that good. the eye is also no that good, it is very cheap. the instructions and costumer service are bad to. the fenix is good but the only thing i didn't like is that it doesn't have a high rate of fire. it's only 12. also it desn't have an eye. i fond that the best deal is probably the Parana 2004 evo. it has all the ad vantages of the fenix but can shoot 20bps and has an eye that is much better than the tes. it is only about 250.
The TES is a little better than the Fenix, but if you add parts and something breaks....
Kingman will have your gun fixed and shipped back to you in a few days to a week, and they have better all round customer service.
Dragun International isn't based in the US its in Taiwan. Customer service is supposed to be terrible. Like Microsoft Xbox terrible. Also they won't fix your gun as fast.
If you're to get anything go with a cheaper spyder, electro if you want. Put a reg and a nice barrel on it. That is if you want accuracy.

the tes has allot of problems. i get allot of crap from people about it when i say something. those tes freaks are like the tippmann freaks. you say something remotely bad about the marker and their are 10 of them on you. thats true about upgrades on spyders but i want to put more money in a gun at first than upgrade it. i like the spyders but i got a halo b and n2 so i better get a marker that can use it like the evo.

Um, a spyder can use an hpa tank and halo!
And how do you know about Dragun's service? I know from experience that the dragun central service is great!

thats right a spyder can use a halo b. but what i ment is using its full potential. (spyders shoot 12bps halo loads 23bps) i could have saved 60 bucks and bought a revy but since i have a halo it would be nice to have a marker that could shoot 20bps so i didn't wast that 60 bucks on nothing. also i bought the n2 so i could shoot at high rates of fire(20bps).

also i read allot of reviews on the tes and talked to owners and they said their costumer service was horrible. look up 4 replies

Well, they must not have been very honest... Just look in the dragun forums. The owners love the gun. I guerentee they will say it's the best gun for the price! And I said my experience with Odyssey was great!

most of the people that get the tes had the 98 before or a cheaper dragun or a gun similar to the dragun or just a cheap gun. compared to the tes those guns are crap. thats why they say the tes is good. also they probably don't use n2 and had to replace the drop and regulator. they also probably don't realize the other problems with it. like the bolt and the distance. they also haven't compared it to the other guns at the price range.

WOW! What you just typed made me laugh! Come on people, help me defend myself here. This kid is on drugs! Some of the owners went from cockers to a tes, some went from a spyder to a tes, and yes, some went from a 98 custom to a tes... So what about the evo, SAME THING! And everyone that has a tes uses hpa, co2 will screw with the gun, as it will with the evo! Man you are screwed up!

what i was trying to say is that most people ditch their 98 for a tes because it supposable is like the 98 but is electronic. or they had a dragun or dragun clone and wan't to up to a tes. the people who buy the evo normally had a spyder or piranha before and want to get the evo because it's awesome or have just done their research. what i am trying to say is that people that buy the tes for the most part have not shot a spyder or piranha and get the tes because they think it is a 98 that shoots really fast.

also when people get the tes(if they had a 98 before) would not have n2 and wouldn't buy it for a while.

I haven't seen a single person use co2 on a tes! You are making no sense with the 98 stuff, but the tes IS faster than the evo partially because of the trigger... Try walking a stock evo trigger. And can I say PLASTIC GRIP FRAME!! Ewwww...:P :eyes:
erik vandenavon

they both shoot 20bps whether you like the trigger or not is your opinion. the evo and tes both have their advantages lets leave it at that.

wow ok glad im here lol wait a sec i havn't had my fun yet
i have used a a/s 20 oz on my tes works fine, ive used my 47 3000 psi on it didn't have to change drop or reg, i have used my friends 68ci 4500psi on my tes works fine
i shot 260 fps stock on my tes running @ 450 psi
now that i polished my internals, and changed the main spring i get 285 fps @ 300 psi, i average 600 shots of my 47ci and 1450 on my 20oz
guess what the tes was my second gun after my victor, what does that have to do with my personality let alone how the marker shoots, have you ever shot an emag or a timmy, (probably not) those are guns that are awesome, the evo is another blowback with an eye just like a tes
as for customer service, all i did was send my gun in (needed a new board) got it back in 5 days and it shot fine no Q ask didn't charge me for anything not even shipping
as for the tes being bad quality, if you don't know how to fix a blowback ( ) you shouldn't own the gun
As for the EVO its a Eforce with an eye, just like the tes is a fenix with toury board and an eye the tes has an ACE, but if you really want anti-chop get a JAM bolt it will work better than a beam break
tes $170
tes with JAM, and SM on/off adapter $245
evo $250
erik vandenavon three things to say
do you own either gun?
by your review it doesn't look like you like your E-Rex Pro that much save up and get a O3 or a cocker, so in a way you bought a crap gun yourself, i see some hidden anger by that and you take it out on the tes, i feel for ya man
erik vandenavon the only reason why people bash you is because you make comment without good reason, if I were to say the tes sucks because I own one thats a reason, do you own one?
i can't remember all of what a wanted to say but if i forgot anything please remind me because i will hold up to the name TESballer

my e rex pro is a defect. it has 2 defects and i was able to return it and get 150 cash. i talked to a tes dragun owner right before i returned my e rex. (the e rex pro is really a black dragun made by gameface) i took some shots with the tes and it was the same as the e rex pro and he said it had the same problems with defects the e rex did. after you use them for a while they start to fall apart. he had to replace his regulator and drop to get the guage to fit in. also he said costumer service was bad and i heard that from allot of other people. he didn't get a spring kit so his velocity was like 200. by e rex's velocity was low 2. i really wasn't trying to dis the tes i was just trying to give the disadvantages because like most guns (basically everything but brass eagle) you hear the positive things. well i fond all the negative things about this marker whether they are all like this or not at least some of them are and before someone goes out and buys this "auto 98". they should know the worst that could happen. i am sorry if i made it sound like i hated this gun but from my experience and my knowledge i have found that the evo is better than the tes. thats why i bought it (it's in the mail) over the tes. price really wosn't an issue because i got 150 and i had been saving money for paintball this summer. the reason i didn't get a better gun was because their arn't any better hybrid blow backs and i didn't want to spend 800 on an electro and i don't like guns like the auto cocker. also i researched this for a week to find the best hybrid blow back and from what it looks like at this web site the evo is the way to go.

no we called it a truce about 2 hours ago. we were fighting for a few days on 4 or so different threads. as soon as one of us got of the computer another would go on and get the last word. we just had to stop. i admit i went a little overboard the only reason i posted that best hybrid blow back marker thing was to get a conversation going. i didn't really try to piss of the tes guys but they kind of pushed me into it after i said a few bad things about it. but you tes guys don't have to get so defensive. i guess it is hard to say one is better than another because it is 100% opinion. someone could like a blade over as angle i guess.
