I just got my bomb 3-way today and am trying to get the old one off... I got the shaft off, but the fat part of the pump rod is stuck on the shaft of the old 3-way. Is it supposed to be like this? I managed to get the old hoses dissconected fron the lpr and ram so they can be replaced with black ones. Ok, I'm ready to take the stock 3-way body out. I'm using a big wrench to try and twist it out. All three of the ports on the 3-way break off, and the 3-way barely budges. What should I do? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

The pump rod goes from the ram to the back block. So your saying the timing collar (fat part) is stuck on the actuating rod(? I think that what its called). Did you loosen the set screw in the timing collar? If not do so. Also for the 3-way body might be loctited on, heat it up a little.

Yeah, the fat part is stuck on the inside of the old 3 way. I never thought about loctite, but I heated it up and still can't get a good grip on it cause it's round...

Do you have a strap wench? Or you could get those jar openers (You know the ones with all the grip). Then wrap it around the 3-way and use a adjustable crescent to get a good grip on it. Also works well on stubborn regs.
Edit: Wait, you got the timing collar stuck inside of the stock 3-way. :eyes: How the hell did that happen?

Ahh, I got it now. But what about the set screw? Did you loosen that?

Wait there is only one set screw on the timing collar? I know on WGP cockers there is two set screws. One to hold the collar on the actuating rod and another to hold the 3-way rod. You might have to get a new timing collar. But is the 3-way shaft threaded or does it look like its just stuck in there.

The bomb 3-way is a little bigger around the threading! What's up with that? What can I do? I just paid my own money for it and can't even use it! Uhhhhhhhh... :pissed:

Uh oh, thats not good. I thought that they did. But compare the threads on the bomb to the threads on the inside of the front block. And if they are to far off then I guess it won't go in. :|

The area with the treads is thicker. It's wider. I put the 2 between my fingers and the bomd is bigger!

My friend did the exact same thing. He bought a new 3 way and it was too big. He took it back to the store and got his money back. Then he called Dragun because he totally screwed up the 3 way and the actuating rod. They sent him a new 3 way and actuating rod for $25.00. Now it works fine.
