hello
i have a barrel adapter on my gun that i would like to get off...
i got it on and left it there for a few weeks (which wasnt a smart idea)
now, it wont budge... i've got a bloody hand from gripping the threading on the adapter which cut into my hand.
how can i get this stupid thing off my barrel?

hey u have a barell adaptor? do u find that it makes any difference with the performance of your barrell? do u regret having it because i im supposed to be buying a dye boomstick for my spyder but it has tippy threads so i need an adaptor. So should i just not get the boomstick?

Why don't you try to take the recievers apart. I don't see how that would cause any problems.

im not that stupid... lol
the barrel adapter is stuck on the barrel, not in the gun.

Right... :sulk:
I guess you could try to put the adapter in a vice, lube up the threads, and get a good grip on your barrel. That might ruin the adapter though.

Try strap wrenches.

Yeah I'd say try to get oil in them, and try strap wrenches. i got a two set of em at home depot for 5bucks, on sale.
Also another thought. The barrel you have has an oring on it I'd guess since most do. Well you could stick em both in the freezer hoping to have the barrel oring compress. Just a thought.
