View Full Version : Mag Classic ROF question
I have a tippmann 98 and I am tired of low rof and difficult fieild stripping, so I am thinking about getting an automag classic(black), but how much higher will the rof be than an m98? and does the classic have the A.I.R. valve or whatever its called? And is the field stripping easy? also will it be consistant with an expansion chamber and 20 oz co2? Please answer any or all of these questions if you feel like it. Thanks

Yes, they have Airgun Designs Valves, with waranty's that you can use to get your gun fixed for free. The mag hates co2 without an x-chamber and anti-siphon. Try to get nitro if you can.

ROF: I'd say a Mag will be about 25% faster than a M98. I used to have an M98. I never took it apart untill I was home.
Valve: Need that to make it shoot. It's the short tube that slides out the back of the body.
Field Strip: Easy. Turn the gas off and you have one screw to remove.
Co2+X-Chamber: It'll be ok.

yeah but if you can i recomend a gray body for the mag instead of black because the black teflon automags look really ugly unless they are really tricked out, for instance mine. HAHAHA.
