I was wondering if anyone could give me onstructions on how to take off and install the thermal lense on a JT Spectra Thermal. If it helps, I have the JT barrel plug that doubles as a lens remover. Thanks. Please respond, I really need to know so I don't screw up my mask or something.

RIGHT FROM THE MANUAL
to remove lens, start at top center and gently roll the goggle frame up and over the lens tabc

continue rolling the goggle frame around the bottom of the lens by gently rolling the frame over each tab.

oh , of course take apart the mask so you are holding the goggles and they look like cycle riding goggles
no visor,chin guard,or ear pieces

Installing, reverse steps starting at the nose by inserting the lens tabs through the frame slots.Work around the bottom then, sides of the frame. Continue to the top of the frame making sure all the T-lock lens tabs are pushed completely through the frame slots

warning:if you dont push the T-lock lens tabs all the way through the open slots in the frame the lens may come out of the frame.check the tabs thoroughly

sounds easy but it tricky...good luck and hope this helps

I was watching a quick time clip of a fellow changing the lenses in the mask I just ordered today...

Less than 6 seconds.
:D

Go back to JTs? Never.
