The gun looks ok but it is made out of alot of plastic.

Good thing is that it is vert feed but i've never tried one.

See what other people think.

I guess the first thing I'd wanna know is how much is it gonna cost, and how often would you be using it. You might wanna look at Sheridans

I own one of these and i bougt it for 114$ canadian with takes in a package that came with hopper, mask, squeegie and 2 paintball tubes with case....as long as you use some decent paint(i use zap cuz thats the best we got where i live) you wont get many (if any) ball breaks. You can order a bottom line kit for one of these. As for barrells..you can order a custom made one here http://www.barrelsofamerica.com/order.html. The zap zxs-600 (now called the Model 83 or Point Zero )with all stock, performs pretty well...I played just about 3 hours ago with it. Its good accuracy (i picked off 2 guys in the mask including my best friend) for about 30-50 yards. As for breaks well i had about 5 brass eagle balls mixed in with my 200+ zap ones and every Brass eagle ball broke:pissed: but i shot about 2 times and that seems to clean the short (8 inch) barrell decently well. The Zap ZXS-600 .........Oh crap i just noticed i'm talking about the ZXS 400!!!!!!! Jeeze!!! Well anyway its a good backup too...and is not a gas hog... I'm talking about a different gun...

I have one and I really like it. The few problems that I've had with it are easily fixable with the recommendations posted in the reviews.

The gripframe is metal with plastic panels, the bolt is metal, the bolt tube is metal, the plastic material will stand up to all but the most foolish of activities. Compare that to the guns out there with platic internals and see which lasts longer! Having said that, if there are aftermarket barrels for it I have yet to find one. I'm not sure it really matters if you polish the stock barrel and use good, well fitting paint. It's not set up to take a drop, but of course a little ingenuity can fix that. Also, don't be fooled into thinking it's a LP marker. The LP gas operates the bolt, but the gas pressure behind the ball is unregulated. I got mine on ebay for $161 US, and I'd say that is about fair.

I have one. I really likeD it. Mine Crapped out. The blade that the bolt trips to fire the marker is somehow stuck somewhere and is now inoperable due to the leak. Any help would be nice.

Fixed the leak, you have to get an adjustable wrench and unscrew the round textured bolt on the fore-grip and lube up the small pin's plastic part, if you need help I can give you detailed instructions

I tried something and found that if you put a small strip of foam tape on top of the trigger when you take the upper body off, I shortened the trigger pull to LITERALLY less than a mm, and the safety still engages, Rock on. How much are the barrels from J&J (I want a good 16 in. with a larger-than-stock bore, the paint here is huge). Just a warning, you CANNOT USE LARGER PAINT THAN YOUR BORE!!!! The way the Zap is designed it will only stuff a paintball into your barrel and not fire.
