power tube question

I am polishing the internals of my custom 98 and I can't get to the front bolt part of one of the halfs without taking off the power tube. I think I heard from somewhere that you may need to use loctite or teflon tape to get it back on correctly. Is this true? If it is, what do I do to put it back on? Thanx

no just take it off and when you put the screws back in put some blue loc tite on them

that is all it is fine after that
