Bolt moves too far back.. HELP

I just got a used Shocktech Bushmaster and im having a problem.
When the bolt is cocking rearward it moves too far beyond the feed port opening and my halo is feeding balls backward, only about 1-2cm, but its far enough the PDS eyes cant see the ball anymore and therefore wont fire. Ive tried a stock bolt thinking perhaps the bolt was the problem but its the same.
Is this common and how can I fix it.

Also, does anyone know of a site that describes how to use a chaos board? Mine didnt come with instructions

Take out your bushy ram.

Remove the hammer from this shaft. This will require a strap wrench, a torch to loosen up the red locktite, and some muscle.

Now, screw the hammer back on, but not the whole way. If you leave the hammer out just a little bit, so when fully cocked, the bolt rest a bit forward.

Just make sure you relocktite it.
