Right now I'm using Diablo Blaze exclusively for Rec Play ... I like the price and performance. If I were playing tournament, I'd be shooting Marbs, they are very consistent, but I've found at slower FPS (260 to 280) they don't always break on target.

if your marbs dont break than move over to allstars. they are almost the same just brttler, or is it more brittle?

Maybe "Most Brittlest."

I used El Tigre paint the other day and bounce a few 100 off of people.thought the paint was bad. Did the drop test and sec. drop it broke.Try hellfire drop test took 6 drops before it broke. Pull out the crap i mean Zap it broke on 3 bounces. But in my mag the El Tigre didn't break when shot, but the hellfire was breaking in my barrel a lot.

Sneak Preview: Direct Hit Paintballs 3-27-01 action pursuit games by jonathan berstein editor.

Your ezine editor was one of the first to order and try the new
"Direct Hit" paintballs from http://www.paintballgeek.com, but was very
skeptical about the company's claims -- that this small-medium bore,
VERY sticky and hard-to-wipe paint is, at under $40 per case
retail, good paint. The case of paint had 2,000 balls; the
shell was pink/purple and the fill was pink, thick and pasty.
It doesn't wipe into fabric.

In the trial, about 200 balls were shot through each of three
markers (Bushmaster BM2K2, Epic and Piranha), using three
different barrels (Dye Excel, 32 Degree Carbon Fiber, Piranha stock).

There were no ball breaks. At approx. 60 feet, through all barrels
and markers, at slow fire and rapid fire, the paint consistently
stayed in about an 8-12 inch circle, with all indications being
that the differences were attributable to the marker/barrel
combinations versus the paint.

If you've tried this paintball, let us know how it performed for you,
what marker you used, and what color shell/fill you shot. Email
jonathan@actionpursuitgames.com.

I like el tigre because they look cool, but mostly I use these sheridans I can find at wal-mart. Six bucks for 200. Not bad. They are by diablo and work well in my gun and my wifes gun. They look cool too, they are red and black with white fill. And I think it is "Brittlest". But I could be wong. Hehe. Wong.

I can't tell if Amarigo1 want's us to buy those direct hit paintballs or not (jk)

I like proball. But if I am just going up in the woods to play 1 vs 1, or 2 vs 2 I don't mind brass eagle. They don't break much in my gun and i don't care if they curve after that. I had one that did like a barrel roll 3 times

PLEASE! At least, try it...The best paints I have ever played with, were with the "Direct Hit" paintballs, that are selled at http://www.paintballgeek.com
Guys! They are better than all balls from RPS...The only problem is that tey smell like horse ****, but it doesn´t matters, since 2000 rounds costs only 39,99 U$

I rather like Diablo, but everywhere I go is FPO and every tourney I play requires you to use their paint. The ZAP paint at skyball was so incredibly perfect in terms of shape and size, unfortunately, it was ZAP, which means a shell harder than anything else on the market. I witnessed someone take a bounce off the front of their hopper and have that ball fly up (after bouncing on the front of the hopper) about 2 feet in the air. That's some hardass paint. For rec, the field I play uses blaze, which I'm very happy with, though that is some serious small bore action goin on with those

Incube

what are you talking about zap is the worst the shell is painfull my first tourny i was shot in the neck and i bounced it brused my whole left side i hate zap and evry tourney in nova soctia uses it i dislike it but thats IMHO
