coiled remote screws into your ASA making your gun lighter by not having the added weight of a tank on your gun. drop forward will bring the tank in towards the center of your gun and brings it down as well. you can use just a remote or a drop forward. you can use both at the same time if you wanted to for whatever reason.
i personally prefer a drop forward because i still like to put the tank up to my body occassionally. i feel that remote lines have a tendency to get snagged and be an inconvenience.
but it is all a matter of personal preference on which you decide to get. i would recommend the drop forward initially. if you are not satisfied with how that feels you can always get a remote line in the fututre.
as for which remote or drop forward i get i would suggest checking out the review section of this sight.
and after looking at your profile i would suggest getting a new barrel. that 21 in. barrel you have is probably the biggest mistake you made

Very true. And I would recommend the drop forward. I've never personally used a remote, but I HATE having weight on my back. It's all up to you, though.

It's all personal preference.
Remote for woods.
d/f for speed.

Remote + Woods = many snagged and inconvient moments, especially in a fire-fight. The only reasons I'd see using a remote is profile and weight reduction, but in speedball, which would be the only use for me when using the remote, it would be pretty hard to shoot switch-handed. Go for the drop if you need something, but I don't see any need for anything additional than a common ASA.

I feel that remotes get in the way too much and really rob your gun of ballance not to mention they rob your velocity. I had a remote for a short time and soon learned if your looking to be compact and don't want to lose power go w/ the drop.:D

Well ,the remotes are nice for woodsball. But you must think... you're in the woods with branches all around you, And you have this hose going half way around you're body while you run around... Me, I fell down face first two games in a row during woodsball and have never used one since. Personally I would buy a nice drop with an on/off to help balence your marker. But thats just my opinion.

its all about preference, if you like shouldering your C02 tank then get the drop, if you dont get the remote

the drop because I like shouldering my tank to aim.
and the gun is unbalanced without a tank to even it out.
