Oi! Last time I was here there was like 20 members...Heh, well its time to give my old piranha to my little brother and find a new one. If anyone can give me some opinions on the like pro or something id appreciate it, also what barrels work nice with em and if anyone knows any sites that make custom piranhas.

well in my opinion and im not a professional in paintball or on guns but i currently have the Pro Ts G3 with a stealth barrel 16" and i love it . keep in mind i went from a Rainmaker by Brass Eagle that had all the bells and whistles on it. It is a great gun when it works ! So i went searching for a replacement for it and came acrsso the Pro Ts G3. In the 2 months that i have had it , there is not doubt that it will keep up pound for pound with the cokers, em1 and a few other high dollar electro guns. My previous gun had all the firing moodes tri burts, single and full auto and Piranha came shoot like the best of them. i have added to it the barrel and a 9v revy . Thats it. I have no problem getting on a field and laying down fire fatser then most other players . The real plus to this gun is that even with the stock barrel accuracy is very good. Change the barrel and you can increase the distance by 50 ft and narrow the grouping spread .The gun is fantastic from right out of the box or even to add less then 100.00 in upgrades . If you know some one with this gun , ask to try it out before you make your mind up. At least give it a try though. Happy hunting to you.

well if you can find it that cheap then i would book mark that site . I got mine about 2-3 months ago , around when they first hit the market . I searched for a price and i purchased mine for 230.00 . Conisidering i have seen them cheaper since of course , i did how ever get free shipping on mine. So in my opinion i am pleased with what i paid considering what i got in return. So if your finding them for under 220.00 then i would jump on it. My opinion of this gun is that out of all the guns i have ( 5 ) this is far the easiest to strip , repair , find upgrades ( many different price ranges ) and i would include the nicest in appearance right from the box. good luck

Well I got out today and got to play with one, it had a small leak but I fixed it up real quick. Considering how nicely it was working for me I'm gonna order one right after thanksgiving. What upgrades would you recommend? I already have a barrel which I'll probably end up getting a new one later along with nitro, but other than that I'm open to suggestions.

If you are using co2 you should get anit-siphon. A spring kit would help you lower your pressure. If you rapid fire alot you should look into a revvy. Electro grip. This guy Chris sells custom vavle pins that lower your pressure about 20psi. His site is

The prices are in Canadian so you have to use the currency thing on his main page.

well as far as my add ons. i got the armosn stealth 16" barrel and a 9v revy , no need to get the 12v since the gun does't shoot fast enough for it. i really don't plan on adding too much of anything to it right now. its a great gun for my needs with what i got for it. a good idea was posted about the siphon tube, i have looked into it as well since i run co2 in mine but i have tried many times to get it to clog up but the regulator is doing a great job of keeping the fluid out on its own. it is a good idea though. i have notice a big increase in weight with the revy added plus i run a 20oz tank to so my gun is a bit heavy . i do have a remote but i am not real comfy with it on my back when i need to roll away from fire. you may want to look into setting up a trigger stop to increase your rate of fire. upgrading the springs as mention y the prev post will do some nice things too. especially if your planning on running in the lower preasure area. if you get a long barrel this may be a good idea to do since you want more of a push then a pop . with the long barrel a slower push will get the ball up to full speed by the time it gets out of the barrel and well cut down on chopped balls. not that i have yet chopped one with this gun. this works so i have read and been told.
