Ok here is my question. I have been playing for four years. My cousins dad owns a rather large company. I was wondering if any one would know if the company gave you money could they write it off on their taxes, or is free advertisement the only benifit the company gets?

Yes they can write the sponsorship off on their taxes as an advertising expense but it's usually not worthwhile unless it's a significant amount of money. His financial adviser should be able to help out more.

Read his post again. He wasn't asking about how to get sponsored, it was a question about taxes.
