The B2K and B2K2 are the same guns, B2K2 just specifies which year it is (2002 Model).

The B2K will be better then the BKO because it uses a four way solenoid and utilizes air to return the ram, as opposes to the BKO which uses a two way solenoid and a spring to return the ram.

It seems to me that the b2k can be tuned to have less kick than a bko.

Everytime I shoot my bushy and then my bros bko, it seems to have more kick. Not much, but you can notice it.

IMO the B2K is a better gun. but it really depends on what you are looking for. If you play rec and a tourney here and there then a BKO would be fine, but if you are really looking into tourny play get a B2K. i would check out the FAQ's,

I play tourneys and I have a BKO, what are you getting at?

A Bushmaster can shoot faster then a BKO.

ok fine yes the BKO can be a tourney gun. I'll reword it if you want to shoot really fast get a B2k, and if you don't like the BKO milling as much

Also, I think that "B2K2" can be used to refer to the LCD version of the Bushmaster (which aren't made anymore). They were just normal Bushmasters with a small LCD screen and some different electronics.

The name of the original Bushmaster I think was B2K, or Bushmaster 2000 (even though it came out in 1998). Someone plz correct me on that if I'm wrong. But nowadays, it is used to refer to the model year. I shoot a B2K3, which is the 2003 model Bushmaster. B2K4's are the 2004 model.

The Bushmaster is similar to the BKO, but it has more/cooler milling (although the 04 BKO's look pretty damn cool), a 4-way solenoid so it can shoot faster, and I think it runs at slightly lower pressure.

The B2K2 signifies a LCD screen. Any marker made in the B2K line with the exception of the B2K2, B2K3 and the B2K4 are all know as a B2K. It is the basic marker that everything else comes from.

As far as the VS part of the thread it all comes down to money.

You can wrap up a easy 7-900 dollars in a BKO and have a marker that will preform a little better than a bone stock B2K w/ PDS. I personally would take the B2K w/ PDS and put my money into some upgrades for it.

I dont know where the thread is but I broke it down one time and did a complete dollar comparison of a BKO vs a B2K and showed how the B2K fully upgraded was only like $50 more than a fully upgrades BKO.

Best thing to do is shoot both markers and see which one fits your price range.
