Why did everyone here get a mag? was it the first time you had shot one when you got it? did you know you wanted one for the first time?

Well I was shooting a Piranha and I know I needed something better. A friend was getting out of paintball and didn't really know what his gun was worth so I bought it and have loved it ever since.

Really its a long story but here it goes.

i wanted in to paintball, i played twice at a local areana (First Coast Indoor Paintball, know closed:mad: ) At first I wanted A
TL+, but my dad said he had a friend that could get me a mag for free with all the fixins. That fell through, and I continued my searchand my dads friend still pushed the mag. i thought that i was going to get a compact, but i ended up seeing by accedent the TKO package at paintballgear.com, and finnaly after a year and a half, i bought a gun and its the best.

For all of the autococker people, if you get a cocker, get a good one like a sto, or shockteck, not the stock cocker. I have had some friends that bought them and the suck. The trigger pull is nasty, but unlike a mag it doesn't get better, and accuracy wise they are about the same, but when you think about it whats better accuracy or reliability.

I got my 1st Mag as an upgrade from a M98. I got that Mag used and it never worked right. I later figured out it had aftermarket internals. I sold the M98 and Mag for a Shocker. 6 months later I saw a good deal on another used Mag and bought it for a backup. I never got used to the weight and feel of the Shocker.

Well, the Shocker is gone now and the Mag now has a Hyperframe and it is great.

Agree with getting a mag for your new gun...they are reliable and will serve you well

Agree that if you choose a cocker look into the upgraded ones if you have the money

Don't agree that the new stock cockers are in any way/shape/form bad... Trigger pull is longer than a nice upgraded cocker...but that can be fixed...with you guessed it...upgrades.

And don't forget.....Both guns are reliable...just dont screw with the cocker...you can't really break a mag...might be good for a younger guy such as yourslef....

I just ventured in here b/c shifty tole me he was looking at the tko on instant messenger... and of course he has started like 8 billion threads in here...lol ...hes a cool guy though... help him...
