I was wondering if there is a difference between power feeds (where the thing that feeds PBs into your marker is angeld and has a cutoff switch) and Vertical feeds, where it just goes straight down into your marker.

Which is better? Is there a difference? Or is it just personal preference?

Personally I like vert feeds better, because the paintball drops directly into the breach. Since it drops straight down, you get a faster feed, as opposed to dropping in at a 45 degree angle. Im sure the speed isnt that great of a difference, but im sure it helps. From my experience it does anyway.

its personal preference, there isnt much of a performance difference, the vert feed loads a LITTLE bit faster.

vert feed is a must if you play speed ball. if you play woods its presonal preference.

Vert. is better IMO. Try them both out and see what you like though.

Vert IS better, but its all personal prefrence. Side feed gives a little more side weight. Cross feed does give a tiny bit of weight on the sde, but none to notice. Its all personal. Vert feeds faster and works better with electric hoppers.
Vert feed is the best, then cross feed, then Side feed.

On a blowback? Powerfeed. Why: It gets more BPS than vert. feed. Why? Because if you notice, the air on a vert fed marker just pushes the balls back up. But on a power fed marker, there is a slot in the cross piece for air to escape. Meaning the balls arent pushed up as far.

But what if an electric hopper/agitated hopper like the Empire Reloader were used?

it will still happen unless the hopper is force fed.
If you use a revvy or a reloader or whatever the balls will still fly up because the loader only makes it so the balls dont get stuck. The balls will still pop up
if you are using a force fed hopper like an EggII or a Halo or whatever than the paint is forced down, but it still might have a little hype up. Youll be fine though.

Be fine with the Revy/Reloader or the EggII/Halo...? >.>
