Ok, so lets assume it isn't bad. Some younger less experienced kids get a hold of the video. They see it and decide to reproduce it. Oh oh.......... someone just lost an eye. A mask is designed to take one or two quick hits. Not a continuous stream of 300 fps hits. Do the math!

If you are dumb enough to try and reproduce something that stupid... well... at your missing eye would warn people you may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Yeah, maybe this isn't bad for paintball. I am sure a few mothers and fathers would view this and say, "Hey, paintball looks like a safe game!"

It isn't the fact that a group of friends did this, it is the fact that something so stupid taped, can dig up, or push paintball back a few steps. If we are to give the appearance that we players are all safe and responsible this kind of behavior should be banned, and delt with swiftly. Not laughed at and ignored!

And yes someone if that calibur of intelligence isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer!

When someone starts saying paintball is unsafe or that I can't play paintball or that I shouldn't be allowed to play paintball or that they want paintball illegal. THEN I will worry.

At this point, oh no, there is a couple stupid kids who own paintball markers somewhere. Who didn't see that coming?

The thing I dont get is. So many people out there are like "OMG they are going to ban paintball, no mask". Well not once have I ever seen a news report or someone bad mouth paintball because someone misused the equipment. Ive seen many new reports where they ared like "man loses eye to paintball shot form teens" but not anywhere do they say paintball is horrible and that they wanna get it banned.

I have mentioned nothing about paintball being banned now have I. What I said was that this kind of action should not be tolerated. I agree that until someone of authority tells me that I can't play paintball will I start to worry. My message is this, don't put up with players of this calibur. That is all. I haven't once mention paintball being banned or anything of the like. I put the blame on players such as the ones in that video.

Why wouldn't I put up with hat. Its hilarious. And there is no danger in it either then the massive welts and what not. Hes wearing a mask.


I noticed you said masks are only meant to take a few paintballs shot at 300 FPS. Well even though thats false because they are meant to take many paintballs a second at around 400FPS and instead of paintballs they use steal balls. The guys in that video are standing about 20 feet and shooting about 280 which means the balls are probably traveling 260-270ish and not a lot of them hit im in the mask maybe 10 out of a 140 did and they dident hit him directly in the mask as he had his face pointing downwards

Take a "chill pill" guys. The kid was wearing a mask, and he did it on his own accord. You can tell that the kid isn't shooting it as fast as possible, and the velocity is turned down.

These kids could have done far worse.
