Well I feel bad because I got alot of support and questions answered in this forum and when I bought my Impulse i sold it a month later to buy a Angel Four Fly. Well I miss my Impulse and when are they going to release a new one?

I doubt they are going to make a new one. Well if there was a new one it would just be another custom impulse.

Isnt the nerve an impy/shocker gun?
There will be a Nerve.... but it's not a "impy/shocker" gun... my guess is that it'll be more like a cross between an Impy and a Timmy (two similar guns anyway)

 im not following you. the nerve looks like a closed bolt(as in the bolt is internally placed like the shocker) while the timmy and impy both have similar bolt systems in that they are external and are very unique to other guns'bolt systems.
let's straighten out the differences between open bolt, closed bolt, and what I like to called "enclosed bolt".
Open bolt means that when the gun is at rest and waiting to be fired the bolt is sitting toward the back of the gun (open)
Closed bolt means that when the gun is at reast and waiting to be fired the bolt is sitting toward the front of the gun (closed)
The Impulse is an Open bolt gun... the bolt is back until you shoot.
A 'cocker is a closed bolt gun... the bolt is in the front until you shoot.
Enclosed bolt... this is what I like to call guns that you cannot see the bolt.....
Angels are open bolt guns... the bolt is to the rear at rest.
and also "enclosed bolt"... you can not see the movement.
All Intimidators are "open bolt" but the "Species" timmy is also enclosed......

Same thing with the Evil Pimp kit. It's open bolt, but also enclosed.
The new Shocker is an enclosed open bolt.
The new nerve is going to be open bolt (from all accounts I've heard)
I hope that clears it up for you.

Dr. J what kind of bolt system does a Mag use?

if i'm not mistaken mag's are enclosed open bolt blow forward guns. enclosed now thats a good word to use, thanks dr. J oh yeah and watch out for exhale:|
Yeah the Mag is open bolt at rest and Enclosed inside the body.
If I remember correctly, the Mag is considered a blow forward or blow through design.... not to be confused with tippmans inline blowback system. And of course there is the ubiquitous "stacked blow black" wich is better known as the Spyder clone (although more accurately as the F-2 Illustrator clone).
But those are all more about gun function / cycle of operations...

dont forget pumps ehh? I actually played with an sl-68 the other weekend and it was quite different
Pumps are fun... they really bring out a different playing skill than electros, cause you can't "hide behind the gun". You can't shoot lot's of paint when you get in trouble.
But all pumps are closed bolt. Some are enclosed (SL-68, Tracer, phantom....) Some aren't (Sniper II, Sniper III, PGP...)

heh there were so mant times where i didnt get an elimination becuasei had a pump, and not a semi(or and elctro for that matter)
so people who say thay can deal(and still get all of the same eliminations) with a pumpss firepower(or even a slow semi) obviusly havent played with a higher end gun then, or maybr theyre just that much a better player than me lol

ive used a stock class phantom once... definatly requires some skill but the gun was suprisingly accurate
