You know those Speedball fields with Pipes and round tubes instead of an airball field???????
Well me and a group of friends are interested in buying some to make a little practice field..
But we dont have a clue what there called, nor if there even plastic, or where to buy them. I heard of getting them from a construction company but i wouldn't know how to describe them.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx

those^ are corruagted PVC pipes. im pretty sure thats what he was talkin about.
i tried looking for some places to buy them from, but most of them are over seas. Youll have better luck calling a construction company and asking for some prices for them.

Try calling around.
You may actually be able to grab some for a very low price if you know someone whos into construction. Or you could drive past a site and ask em if they need anymore. Cant hurt.

look for stuff in dumpsters and on construction sights.
then, take that stuff. i wouldn't pay for that crap; you can probably get it for free.

If you look online they have some places that only sell piping, and you would get a better deal.

Just so you know, that piping is super super expensive. Like $4 a foot I believe was what someone told me, now, we got about 90ft of similar tubing from a manufacturer that was slightly defective so they gave it to us free cause it was defective and my dad did some work for them. That 90 feet wasnt enough to make even a decent 3 man field, to make anything good, you would need at least 180 feet or so. That'd be like $720, and thats if I got the price right, which I most likely didnt, its probably more expensive.
Good Luck.

go to your local Lowe's and ask them if you can buy those wooden crates off of them, you know the ones that they stack crap on, you could probably build a practice field in the woods with that

Just drive around to construction sites and pick up random things and make a field that way.

those wooden box things your talking about are called pallets....theres this guy that just throws them into his yard....theres got to be enough there to make a decent field

Their drainage pipes used in construction for low budget sewers and whatnot.......
Steal them out of any local industrial complex.

those 55 gallon drums work nicely...we got some of the drums off the local coca-cola botteling plant near my house. We asked if we could have some, and they said we could have as many as we needed because they were just going to be melted down and shipped back to the place where they got them from...but we got about 45 of them and it only took 2 hours of back and forth driving from the field to the plant. We got a few of those pipes u guys were talkin about from a place that burned down by my house...we just asked them if they needed them anymore...some were a little melted so they couldn't be used...we got everything for about $30(cost of gas).

Am I the only one here who thinks stealing is wrong?
If you want free material to build speed ball fields try your local junkyard, many will give you tires for free, since they are expensive to dispose of.
Don't rob construction projects.

 Must have been pallets made out of oak...
All the ones we have around here are extremely light.

My dad got a bunch of pallets for me to make a field out of in my back yard. They're kind of hard to stand up since they're flat, plus they have gaps where you can see through them, which makes them useless as bunkers.
