Well, I'm thinking hard about buying a new gun and the 03 shocker with HE kit cost about the same as the freestyle so I was wondering how the efficiency compares with the 03 shocker. I read it was a gas hog but compared to the 03 shocker how is it? At my field they rent out 47/3000 pure energy tanks and if I bought a FS then I don't really have any money left to buy like a 68/4500. Do you think I would be ok for a while running on that kind of tank?
Thank you

For Speedball and being able to refill the 47/3000 you should be ok. Right now it seems the Freestyle has a bit of an issue with efficiency but its not terrible either. I know there are a couple of places that are working on improving efficiency atm including, ICD, Shootpaint, Harb from Pbnation and possibly Goldie@Vaporworks but he has a ton of stuff going on besides taht as well. So with all those working on it effiency should improve dramatically down the line.

Wow, I didnt hear about its problems with efficiency...maybe thats cause Im slow though. So is it just bad efficiency stock? Will a new valve help much? I dont know about efficiency, but as far as other aspects of the guns stock, Id take the FS over the Shocker.

Freestyles are having problems with the number 6 o-ring. it seems to always be breaking, harb made a tool which makes it easier to replace. It also doesnt have the greatest of efficency, I am going to wait a little longer for newer FS to come out to see if I truely want to get one or not.
