Painting my gun

what type of paint should I use on my gun, and how would I paint it? Where can I find this paint?
I want to paint it balck cuz it's to shiny right now.

spraypaint w/ a dull clearcoat... although i wouldnt recomend painting it at all... just send it out to have it anodized

Meh I painted my 68 classic with that mirage paint then used a thinned epoxy (stuff used to seal wood r/c boat hulls) as a clearcoat. I unloaded 2 full hoppers from about 10 feet away on the poor thing to see what would happen, nothing but a big yellow mess to clean up.
