I just got the Jt 4.0 and love it but it needs a trigger job for sure. Does anyone know of a link to a site that says how to do this or maybe knows how to do it themselves. If you do post the instructions please. Thanks a lot.

ok, first off my suggestion is get a new grip frame. 45 style feel better. Excellerators take spyder grip frames. If you replace the grip frame you will probably need a new line on the bottom. If this is the case then you'll have to replace the x-chamber. the x-chamber has a crappy male fitting that no one can id for me. To replace the x-chamber you need a new vertical adapter (spyder). But on to the trigger mod.
I'm going to presume you know what the sear is, and the rest of the parts of the tigger assembly, as well as how the trigger works.
First thing you wanna do is raise the resting point of the sear. This will remove all the movement in the trigger where it is lifting the sear but the hammer is not being released. The easiest way to do this would be to add something to the sear pin (the one that the sear rests on, not slides on). I haven't found a way to do this without having the material break on me. Add alot, then take away. Once your to the point were the trigger will recatch on each shot when gassed up, take just alittle more away to be safe.
Then you'll want to remove the forward travel in the trigger. Making it so once you pull the trigger, the sear is released. To do this put some music wire, or part of a mechnical pencil (the plastic tube that the leads go into) inside the return spring of the trigger. You'll have to remove the trigger pin to do this part.
Last part is removing travel after the sear is released. There is a small hole in the body of the marker, just above the trigger where the return spring is. This hole doesn't go all the way through, and doesn't have any threads on it, and seems pointless at first. But if you put some threads on it, and put a small screw in it, it will remove the back travel of the trigger. But DON'T drill any deaper in this hole, just thread it. Or you could take a piece of plastic, or other hard material and have it fit on top of the trigger. put a piece of tape on it to keep it in place while putting the grip frame back on. Then attach the grip frame. you want this piece to be wedged between the trigger, and the body of the marker. but not toughing the grip frame itself. Hope this helps.

I understand all that stuff. Trying to get the pins out is causing me the most trouble. This is a new gun and I dont want to mess it up so I am embarrasingly asking anyone if I should just use like brute force (AKA hammer) or just keep pushing it with like a screw driver to get these pins out. I might resort to the hammer if they dont come out soon.

disregard the last post, as always there's nothing you cant do with a big enough hammer

All jt owners do this mod. Holy crap its fantastic. I havent even finished it yet and its so much bettter. I touch the trigger and it fires. I used a ground down nail for the first step and then super glued it on. Looks like it will hold up forever I hope. What I find to be the perfect height to raise is so that the pin is a flat surface across. If you look where the sear pin is there are like to holes around it where it goes into the gun. If you put enough material between this so that it is level across then it will work perfect.

Glad I could help. Nothing is permanent on this mod, so noone has to worry about that one.

I'm working on an excellerator 4.0 owners group, so it will be up there. I've asked skiir360 to get the pictures for me, because I don't have access to a digital or otherwise camera. Among other things I plan to put instructions on a home made 'intelly feed' Agitated VL200 up there. if anyone wants specific info till I get the site running, email me at e4og@hotmail.com
If anyone can suggest a free server that supports ASP and doesn't crash all the time (I've been using brinkster.com, and domaindlx.com) please email me as well.

If the Excellerator takes syder grip frames would it be possible to replace the grip/trigger with an lcd/auto trigger... forgive me if i make no sense, i am kinda new at this yet.

It will take any spyder grip frame. I personnaly don't like electro markers, and the mechanical feel of a trigger is important to me, but an hyper frame or boo yahh or something of the like would work.

But the way if any of the moderators are reading this, i've experienced a problem. If I open this page through the link provided in the auto emails sent, that has been opened in hotmail, it will log me in, the as me to log in again once I try to submit. So i have to open a new window and copy & paste the address before I can write a response.
