I've heard it before and want to make sure 100% because i don't want to mess up my 400$ gun. I'm fairly new to paintball and this is a total noob question so i post here:

you put a few drops of oil in the ASA(where you screw ur tank into right?) and take ur barrel off and dry fire about 5-10 times and this should oil your whole gun up adequately?

P.S. I'm going to oil it afterward, I just ordered a Tippmann A-5 and it is going to arrive tomorrow, should i take it apart and oil it up or just use this asa method, and if it matters i have an expansion chamber hooked up to it (or i will anyway)

Yes, put a few drops in your asa (where tank goes in) and take off your barrel and dry fire. This will oil your gun but still make sure the bolt is oiled. When you do the asa oiling way this will oil your gun adequatly (or should) but still make sure the bolt and other moving parts are oiled. Hope this helps, post if you have any other questions.:)

;)

Thanks a bunch, that pretty much hits the nail on the head, I thought so but I just wanted to make sure, so thanks a lot(and I will oil the bolt then)

You don't have to oil the bolt if you oiled the asa, just make sure it is oiled.:) Make sure the striker is oiled too.

Sounds good, and thanks again, tomorrow when the UPS man comes to my door i'm going to me a very happy person :P

Also gotta make my x chamber fit with some loctite, i'm sure i'll have some probs with that, but until then I need some sleep~ ;)
