Well, ive gone through 3 o-rings in the past week, what am i doing wrong? I just screw the tank on nice and smooth, i dont force it or anything, but its a tight fit. think i need to sand down the edges in the...thing..i forget what its called..kinda late.
But since i got over 150 for graduation, i may buy a new thing. whats a good one?

Are you degassing before removing the tank?

You've got to fire the gun as you're unscrewing it so the remaining gas won't spray out of the ASA and ruin your o-rings.

ya gotta do what these guys said. also, ill be that the o rings that you got rid of are not ruined. Just put some pbgun oil on them and they will go back to normal size and shape. luckily, O rings are cheap anyway.
w/ your 150 I recommend buying HPA. save up about 50 more bucks and buy a good one, or buy one used still in hydro from the trading forums, but make sure the person has good feedback first.

An on/off valve will fix that.

Even with an On/Off, you still need to degas the marker.

To not bust any o-rings you need an on/off on ur bottomline and tank. (of course they wear out eventually so you still will bust them just much much less ) You turn off the air to the gun on the bottomline and turn off the air from the tank. THen you take the tank off and degass the gun by turning the bottomline on/off on. I doubt a tank on/off would prevent orings busting that much because a lot of that air coming out is from your gun too. You gotta shoot quickly when taking the tank off to solve this but some ppl are just too slow....... (like sometimes me for instance) Some drop forwards have this on off on their built in bottomlines but i presonally think their ugly.

Well, what I do is unscrew my gun until there's about a quarter inch gap between the bigger part of the valve and the ASA. Then I fire off like 5-10 shots and it's degassed. A quarter inch is usually enough to have the valve pin un-depressed and the o-ring still sealing the tank.

Put a little oil on the o-ring before you gas up. And a couple of drops in the asa for the valve
