My 1ST Tourny

i played in my first tourny today!!! OMG it was freakin awesome! it was my first time playin on a airball field too.
i went down to watch my friend, then in a spur of a moment i was playing too. of course i didnt have any of my gear.
it was a 3man game. one of my teamates and i had to borrow the fields tippman 98, and a mask. the other guy had a gun but no mask.

my team won the first game and then 3 more.
the refs and the home team said they were surprised cause we had the rentals and being our first time playing like that.
overall my team came in 3rd out of 3, but hey it doesnt bother me. i as just happy to play.

yea i know 3 teams isnt much, i guess paintball isnt as popular around here, but still good times

It was probobly a small tournement and wasnt well layedout. Play a few more local, easy tournements, and then move up to better ones.
3 teams? Thats like nothing, even to small tournements:P
but still...i guess. Whatever.

it was a young gun tourny. there would have been 4 teams but my friends team couldnt make it. last sunday there was also another team that didnt make it this week.
the field also has a wvpl league that has 3 local teams.

no i didnt get a prize, it was 45 for a team entry and all the winnings went to 1st.

yea i plan to do some bigger tournys once i get better at playing

for this field oung guns is 10-17. 1st place won 135$

Where in West Virginia do you live? I lived there last year but my family hated it down there so we moved back to Ohio.

Yeah, paintball isn't to popular there, I always played at Flat Top Paintball which was the only field around:(

im about to play a torney (first one to) and im prayin theres only gonna be 3 because we know one team thats gonna play and unless they get awesome in 2 weeks... wed be guaranteed 2nd place :)
