I have looked everywhere, but have not found the information I need about swelling o-rings. Can anyone tell me how to swell my o-rings, or direct me to a place that shows me how to do it? thanks.

Why would you purposely want your o-rings to swell? The reason they swell is usually because they're exposed to liquid co2. When they swell they basically become unusable.

A semi-swelled o-ring may create a better seal on different parts. i.e. bolt or striker.
Is that why you want to swell them? Other than that, I really don't see a need for it...
To swell them, I'd use some sort of petroleum based oil or WD-40.

A petroleum based oil would eat away at the orings.

I've never seen it eat away at them.
On a friend of mine's marker, he used some and it just made the o-rings bigger and floppier.
