I went for the first time today with my Spyder Compact 2000, stock everything, and my aim was horrible.
Its not that I wasnt aiming well, The balls just went flying in tons of different directions.
I couldnt hit anyone hardly.

How can I Fix this?
Different balls, better barrel... what?

The first thing you'd want to do is save up some money and get a good aftermarket barrel, don't worry about getting any other upgrade first, this is the upgrade you should start off with. This will help your aim/accuracy tremendously in the long run.

A problem that i see newbies run into is ball breakage in barrels, hoppers and ammo tubes. Many don't realize that wet or soiled ammo will cause extreme curves. Periodicly check your hopper and barrel to make sure that no balls have broken in them. If they have, clean up the mess before continuing. Wipe the paintballs down with paper towels or a cloth if you plan on keeping them.

Like TL said, your probably using to small paint or big paint. It also might have to do with balls breaking in barel
When my TL and other guns were stock, when i broke paint, the balls fly all over.

Ball/barrel match is extremely important. Too small, they fly all over the field, too big, same thing and ball breaks in barrel. If you've already found a favorite paint, find a barrel to fit it.

some good newbie barrels are the Smart parts proggresive, or tear drop, lapco Bigshot, or J&J ceramic, but the xcel isn't bad either

You can find As bigshots and ceramics for $50. I have heard from xcel owners that they arent that great.
