every one is always beotching how some barrels are quiet but not gas effiecient. i know that the air needs about 7 inches to expand. i like the all american barrel but everyone says it's not gas efficient. but they also say it's quiet. is there a ballance in any barrel???

What do you mean by "a ballance"? All barrels are balanced; efficience vs sound. For your all american they just wanted it to be quiet, who cares as long as you don't run lp or care about refilling it a little more often.

Alot of people say their barrel sucks because it isn't perfect, and they don't understand that nothing can be perfect. Then they go to forums and give them bad reviews because their comparing them to what they think would be the perfect barrel without any thought that that would be impossible. :pissed: That's why forums on barrels can be kind of moronic, everyone says their barrel is awsome because it is quiet, and/or puts it down cause it is a gas hog and is hard to clean, or the other way around.

Everybody has they're different opinions on barrels. And your right there is no perfect barrel. To me the All american is my style, which is my opinion, but most people say the all american barrel isnt the best for lp use because it has alot of porting which uses more gas. Long barrels also use more gas. But to one advantage to more porting it makes the marker quieter.
