i was thinking like 200 from the max and like 60 from the LPR?
tell me what u think

i dont have any lpr exp. but i know that u should set ur gun at about 180input and then just adjust ur dwell until ur shooting 280ish fps...the lower the dwell the higher the fps, i think...maybe

but sunce you have an lpr you would be right to run it at about 200 for better efficiency, ill ook for the tuning guide real quick

form teh FAQ
Set your Impulses operating pressure to 150psi.
Set the LPR at its maximum output pressure setting. This will be 150psi. We don't really care about the LPR's actual pressure. We are trying to do this the simple way.
With the operating pressure at 150psi, adjust your dwell to get the gun to shoot about 300fps. This will give you a very good dwell setting to use with the LPR.
Now set the operating pressure up to 200psi.
Shoot over a chrono, adjust the LPR to get the velocity you want, lets say 290fps for an example.
There you are done!

Heres a 3 way of doing it
For proper LPR setting
Best method (longest)
Mount LPR and make connections. Remember the LPR replaces the VFF, so if your gun is equipped with a VFF, you should seal transfer hole in the bottom of the gun.
Set the LPR to its highest pressure (most LPRs this will be screwing the adjustment in)
Set the gun to 200 psi
Shoot over a chronograph and adjust the dwell of the gun. What you are trying to find is the point where the dwell makes no further difference in velocity. Shoot, and adjust for more dwell (turn counter clockwise on old boards, push front adjuster on new boards). At some point you will find that adding more dwell does nothing to increase the velocity.
Now back off the dwell until you see the first drop in velocity.
This is correct setting for the dwell.
Now adjust LPR pressure to get to the velocity you want.
You may want to try different setting from here to get the best performance for you gun (all guns differ) but this give a great starting point.
Quicker method
Set LPR at max pressure. Set regulator at 150 psi.
Shoot over chronograph and adjust the dwell for the setting that gives you aprox 300 FPS.
This will be your dwell setting.
Adjust input pressure up to 200 psi
Shoot over chronograph and adjust LPR to get desired velocity
Fast setup
For use with new “blue light” board. NOTE: this should only be used as a “fast setup” for original bench install. Adjustments should be done over the chronograph with one of the methods above.
Push front dwell adjustment until you hear a change in tone. Push the back adjustment 4 times. Set gun at 200 psi. Fire and adjust LPR pressure to get desired performance.

Maybe you should change the name of it to Common Impulse Setup questions or something. Most people I'm guess have no idea what a sticky is or means.

I tried the fast setup and am getting shootdown if i shoot over 1 bps. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've played with all the settings and it didn't seem to help much.

clean your ram/hammer assembly, maxflo/inline reg, and do the following exactly:
Set LPR at max pressure. Set regulator at 150 psi.
Shoot over chronograph and adjust the dwell for the setting that gives you aprox 300 FPS.
This will be your dwell setting.
Adjust input pressure up to 200 psi
Shoot over chronograph and adjust LPR to get desired velocity
if you gun still isn't working you need to take it to smart parts or your local sp tech so he/she can diagnose its problems (it is rather hard to do this on the net). good luck.
