Could someone tell me if this will do good on my Spyder Sonix. I was thinking about buying this barrel as my first upgrade once I get the money. It is a fair price ($35.00 at Wal-Mart) and the reviews all look pretty good. The particular one I was looking at I believe was the 10 or 12" Anyways thanks for your help!

That barrel is not as good as something like a J&J Ceramic. Not only will the Ceramic KILL the VL barrel, but it's $29!!

i had a brass eagle samurai, i had jerry rigged the vl barrel on it. I got rid of the samurai cause it broke after i fixed it (figures) so now i've got myself an A-5 and i am nolonger in need of a barrel with spyder theads, i will sell it with a 9 ounce for 30-35 bucks cause it is a good barrel, very accurate and quiet. it is a great barrel, if you buy it then you will not be dissappointed.
1 12" VL barrel (RETAIL: $35)
+ 1 9 Once CO2 (RETAIL: $10-15)

You would be surprised how good the vl barrel actually is, it will shoot just as nice as any barrel in its price range(cp, dye sp, J&J barrels, they all shoot just about the same) This is the only product that vl hasnt screwed up. And for only 35 bux at your local store, i say go for it, its a great barrelf or the price. :D

I have the sonix and the VL barrel....It freakin rocks!!! I use the VL barrel more than my jj ceramic, marballizer shoot much better in the VL barrel since it is smaller bore. I can't say if it shoots medium bore paint too well, Super swirls tend to be harder to push out when testing the paint to barrel test. You cant go wrong with a $35 barrel you can easily return if you dont like it.
