i bought a gt commando 2 and was very disappointed
it is my first paintball marker
and i had hoped for better performance

the paint breaks in the barrel
and the paintballs hook in all directions
anyone have any suggestions
the gun is only a few weeks old and i have only
used maybe 75 balls at the most
i tried the ones that came with the package and diablo blaze
with the same results
we even tried the paint in another gun a spyder and they worked fine
the package cost about $215 it should at least have some consistancy

Man you should go for a spyder they are good starter guns and easy to upgrade

You need a new barrel the stock one sucks it uses all aftermarket spyder barrels.

i turned down the velocity and now can rapid fire
the blaze paint without breaking the ball
still have not had a chance to speed test or play
lousy job!
too many hours

anyway tested it at 35 feet
seems straight but would like to test at a greater
distance
i will post again when i can play or test again
thanks for all the help

ok played my first game sunday
it was a riot
had a blast
went to paintball daves indoor for their free play day
20 bucks for paint 500 rounds and we were in
we about 6 of us had a lot of fun
the milwaukee journal was even there taking pics for a story
it was packed about 30-40 players on a team
from 12 years old and up
the commando worked pretty good
i was able to turn down the velocity to 222 fps
they require 240 fps indoors
my friend with the spyder had to cut his spring to get under 240
the gun fired as fast as i could pull the trigger
i had the 12 oz tank topped off when we started
it lasted the whole 4 hours that we played
i used about 400-500 of the rounds
and there is still some air in the tank
only problem i had was accurracy
with the stock barrel
the balls would hook to the right
paint was pmi
next i am going to try a new barrel
to get better accuracy
www.unitedpaintball.com
has been helping me with a few choices
hope to decide soon
and be out there splating someone after the holidays
will post again after i get the barrel

I have a GT Commando 2 and have no problems at all. Shot about a case of paint through it and have had 2 breaks in the chamber. The only problem I did have was adjusting my velocity I couldn't get it below 290. I cut the spring down.

sto are you running all stock
the gun functions fine but the barrel seems to be the
problem
i have tried diablo blaze
the free paint i got with it and
some pmi paint
i am new to paintball
i thought if i spent 200 on a setup it should be more accurate
then it is
the balls still curve and i tried it indoors so wind would not be a factor and i cleaned the barrel before we played

i am considering a barrel i have narrowed it down to three choices
32 degrees ice cold $50
equation bizerk $79
equation multi-switch $180
i really like the gun and so does everyone that has seen it

the gun set cost me $210 with mask, air, tank, hopper, and 200 balls
compare it to buying a new car then having to pay that same amount again to keep it driving straight after driving it once
ok the amounts are less
but that is the idea

I use a remote and I find RPS paint works real well with the stock barrel.

I have a GT commando 2 and it has been breaking so many balls. So i tried different balls (diablo blaze) and not one broke. I ordered a case and I hope they work well.
My barrel has been real accurate. The only problem is the balls.

I break balls I now find only when I'm out of air or very very close.

hey i just got my marker back from avalon today
they adjusted the bolt and tuned it up
that was the invoice reason
can't wait to try it again
maybe this weekend i can take it outside and fire a couple
of rounds
and check the accuracy
it took just under two weeks to get it back
considering it went from wi to texas
thats an inpressive turn around
for a repair

yes.. the stock barrels porting as burrs in the inside.. its odd.. but yeah.. new barrel and not crappy paint works like a charm.. or just get a new barrel.. that works to
