Hey pb peeps, i need a little help from you bushy/defiant owners out there. A guy at the local field i play at is selling a Defiant and i'm wondering what price i should give to get it. It is in perfect shape and shoots well. These are the features.....

99 BL Defiant Blue to Purple Fade
10 in CP blue
14 in J&J Blue fade
12 in ANS

I thought if i could get this at a  price, i would send it to the professional Pimp, goldie, and have it vaporized. Also would like to know any (+) or (-) to the 99 model.

All help is appreciated :)

No drop, no stickies or any aftermarket components, just gun, everything original except extra barrels.... i was thinking no higher than $450 since this is the model you have to take apart the grip to get to the battery, right  , at least that is what i have read up about the older models.....

ya, if you can get it for $450 go for it.

I'm hoping he will go down, cause he just bought a Dark Angel and broke the bank. I think he is desperate for money......not to be mean, but this could transcend into a sweet deal for me. Is there anything i should know about the 99 models? Does the vaporization include new hpr and lpr components, cause i'm sure they are not up to snuff considering the age of the gun. I guess i should direct that question to Goldie, but he is hard at pimpin and stuff. I put this same thread on the ICD forum, hope it doesn't get deleted......not to many viewers in the bushy/defiant forum...

Im not sure but I think all defiant have the tray without the battery door. I was at caljam yesterday and the defiants that national were selling didnt have one. I would change the HPR but I wouldnt worry about the LPR until you trick a bunsh of the other stuff out.

icd has new lpr and hpr springs you can get from them that help ALOT,the new version of the defiant does have a battery door
and a different milling pattern.

the new version of the defiant, brand new is 550 so i wouldent
go over 400 for a used almost 3 year old one

cheers

Yeah, heck with that 99 model, he won't budge off of $500. He probably needs money the pay for the left nut he sold to buy his Dark Angel. I'll spend 50 bucks and get a new one.

Well, the dude selling the 99 laughed at me :pissed: when i offered $400, so i think he is going to be stuck with a 99 defiant for awhile, unless some poor sucker :dunce: takes it off his hands. I think i'm going with goldie on a new vaporized bushy with vapor components if i can. Then i'll go back to my field, and show him and his dark angel up :badboy:. He shouldn't have denied the power of the bushy/defiant..... Thanks for all the posts guys, it was a great help, and especially thanx to goldie for hanging out on pbreview.....
