Okay, I just played for the first time with my omen. I really liked it, but I really seem to have problems with a leak out the barrel. All the manual says is that the valve has debris in it or pressure is too low to seal it. How do you get debris out of the Valve??????????? I tried to increase pressure, and then adjusted recock, but it still leaks. It is very slow, but extremely annoying. I emailed evil tech, but no reply yet.
I didn't have problems while I was playing, this was all when I got home.
While I was playing, several times the bolt would stop halfway between open and closed. It didn't chop until I raised the recock hoping to get reliable cycling. It was easy enough to fix ( manually cock it) , but it always happend at the worst possible time. Like when I was about to bunker someone. It did that twice. That REALLY sucks. I like the marker but I could really use some help from raddish boy or the other guy that knows what he is talking about. Thanks.

Cock the gun before you gas it up.

you know the little cone shaped thing under teh barrel? unscrew that. check if anything is in there.

but, it really sounds like you're running at too low of a pressure, so your valve isn't sealing. afew more little questions:

do you have an after market asa? or any type of port on your gun that you had to seal with teflon tape?

No s*** penguin boy, I never would have figured to cock it. It only mentions it in the manual like 200 times.
Radish: How do you get the cone off?? I don't have any aftermarket stuff at all and no teflon tape.

Jeez sorry, you said it didn't happen when you played but when you got home so it sounded like the obvious solution.

Sorry penguin, but I am really pissed that my omen is leaking air after one use.

I am going to play tomorrow and try everything again. If it doesn't stop I will take the cone off. I tried twisting it, but it is on so tight I will probably need pliers.

Another problem I had was the bolt would stop on a paintball partially loaded into the chamber. It only did that during rapid fire. Yes, I tried increasing recock pressure. It chopped the next one it hit. ( but it was different cheaper paint.) Any idea why it's doing that??? It really sucks because twice when that happened I was bunkering someone. All I have to do is manually recock it, but that takes precious time when they turn and see you coming.
Maybe it is due to the extra part I found after cleaning it. I didn't take it out, or even see it in the gun or manual, but I found a small silver pin that has no threads or heads for tools. It is 5mm long and has a diameter of 3 mm. Is that from an omen or something else??
I'd appreciate any insight on all of this crap.

dun dun dun...its the pin off your hammer. I broke two when I had my omen. Look on the front of your hammer, I'm willing to bet you'll see a rough spot in the center. That is where the pin is from. Call evil up and ask them to send you one. Just so you know, you won't be playing with your omen tomorrow.

D***, your right. It is broken there. Why would that break????? Mine still shoots perfectly fine. Would that have absolutely anything to do with the barrel leak?? They fix those for free, right?

They will send you a new one to put on. not sure how yours still works good though.

Yeah, I found out today that it didn't work perfectly fine. It cycled okay but I could not get the velocity above 217. I still played with it but the only eliminations I got were off bunkering moves. The barrel leak stopped because I had the pressure up so insanely high to try to get it to shoot faster. I called them and they are sending me a replacement hammer. They do have good customer service and don't hesitate to make things right. I think they are sending me something to fix the barrel leak too. If I can get it to work right I think I will really like this gun.
Thanks for all the help.
