i've read that the PGP is actually a superior gun in terms of reliability and accuracy. any opinions on this? i would like a sidearm, and while I like the PT Extreme and its semi-autoability, i prize a reliable and accurate gun. any ideas?

my vote goes to PGP if i am going to use a pistol and only have 10 shots i want those 10 shots to count so im not gonna be rippin balls out fast. i wouldnt spend money on a PT, i would rather buy a spyder compact for the same price.

thanks for the reply, but i would primarily be using the gun as a side arm, so rate of fire, range, and accuracy are important to me. while i could certainly get a spyder, or a model 98 for the price, i already have a modded 98, so a good sidearm is more valuable to me. i am mostly wondering if the PGP is more accurate and/or durable than a pt extreme. any thoughts?

As long as this is only a side arm I would reccommend the PT EXtreme over the PGP. THe PGP is definetely better for use as a primary gun but has little use as a side arm. The side arm is going to be used primarily when you need to reload the primary gun or when you need that extra firepower. In either case a pump gun is useless. PT extreme has good accuracy and has so far been very reliable.

what makes the pgp a better main gun? does it have better gas consumption and/or constant air adapter options? while i primarily intend my pistol purchase to be used as a sidearm, there are times i might use it as a main weapon. how are they both on accuracy/range?
