sand it, prime, sand, prime, paint, about 3 coats of paint, then use a protective high gloss paint?? if that wil wat kind of paint and sand paper is good?

That should give you a nice paintjob.

Use automotive paint.

Don't listen to tippMANntech unless you want a half assed paintjob.

when ur all done the painting, clear coat it then put it in the oven to bake it on. I dd ths to my aluminum spyder trigger frame. its not as good as anno but it will hold.

hey lames i used professional automotive paint and my pantjob is great hate to break ti to ya you dont need primer unless your painting it a light color


all those coats of paint will make the safty not fit and it will make a hassle trust me ive painted 15+ guns many different ways

its not that much more work, you will be please that you took the time to add primer, etc.

or just send it somewhere and get it powdercoated for around 40-50 bucks.

Either get it annodized or get it Powder coated, unless you plan on upgrading guns soon then just use spray paint or something..

you cant really anno a tippy, it has been done but it came out with a lava lamp effect

spending 100 bucks on a paint/powdercoat anno jobon a tippmann is like putting a house of kolor paintjob on a 85 buick


spray paint works fine if you buy a good color scuff it up before painting and know how to spray

you can get your gun powdercoated for around 20 bucks :rolleyes:
