i was lookin at the mongoose and the mongoose II and if i buy 1 i would wank to get another co2 tank and i do not wanna spend 150 on an air tank. i was thinkin bout the 16 oz. chromolly tanks (http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/011-143-0007.html) and if those work well with mongoose's and if those r good tanks.

Get an aluminum tank not a heavy chromemoly one. Get a 20 oz. tank and have it anti-siphoned.

ya i think ill jus get a 20oz w/ anti-siphon. they have one on paintballgear.com for $35 and it has an on/off. but i still dont know if i should get the mongoose led, or the mongoose II cuz they r both tournament legal and the led is like 40 buks cheaper so im still trying to decide.

Anti-siphon will only work properly if the tube in the tank is facing up and im not sure if online sites that sell A/S tanks have them marked. A local proshop can install one for you for about $10. Just a question but do you plan on playing local tourneys or tourneys on a higher level? Local tourneys wont mind that your gun doesnt have tourney lock like a Mongoose LCD does. But I do believe the LCD version has a jumper so you can lock out the turbo, multi, and auto modes on it.

just a question...my gun will shoot 260 tops on the standard spring, and about 307 with the hard spring, so either way im screwed, are there any ways to make up that little fps boost?
do you think a Shocktech Assault Block will fit the goose or does anyone know any other 15* blocks so my forgrip will look like an orracle?
also, what do you think is better in the long run, HPA or N2?

if you cant get the velocity right with the velocity adjuster you can try turning down your regulator a bit or cutting the stiff spring a little.
i'm not sure about the 15* block, i think it will fit.
HPA and Nitro are virtually the same, I use whatever is available as they are completely interchangeable. The only benefit of nitro is that it is dry, HPA will have moisture in the air and nitro is dry. We all know water is bad for the inside of a marker.

You saying HPA has a liquid-like form to it????

bondr0072- anti siphoned tanks are great if they are attached to the gun. If you use a remote line and carry your tank on your back, use a normal tank.
dpbmustanglax - HPA (High Pressure Air) does not have a liquid form. the air we breath has moisture in it, when you compress that air it still has moisture in it. Nitro is dry, no moisture.

I haven't seen any tanks that aren't 20 oz and are A/S. You can get your tank no matter what sized anti-siphoned at your local proshop.

does anyone know how to fix the bolt sticking problem? and one more thing, what threading does the feedneck use or what kind of low rise feednecks are there for the goose

http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/011-143-0007.html
that's a clamping feedneck, it's the only one i have seen. it's also available in black.
if the bolt is only stoping at high rates of fire, like extended periods at 20BPS, it's not getting stuck. The sear is tripping faster then the gun is actually cyling, which causes the sear to not latch and the gun doesn't recock.
A higher flow valve might fix the problem but i'm not sure.
